EPJ Techniques and Instrumentation

EPJ Techniques and Instrumentation works in close collaboration with the EPS Young Minds Action Committee to create meaningful opportunities for early-career researchers in scientific publishing.
Early-career researchers serve as Associate Editors alongside experienced Editors-in-Chief. With guidance and dedicated training, they gain practical experience across the publication lifecycle, including selecting reviewers, assessing referee reports, communicating with authors and recommending editorial decisions.

Overview
EPJ Techniques and Instrumentation is a fully open-access single-blind peer-reviewed journal primarily focusing on advances in experimental and computational methods and techniques in all areas of fundamental and applied physics.
- Offers detailed descriptions of equipment, methods, protocols, techniques and related hardware/software.
- Highlights progress in data science, computational techniques, machine learning and theoretical modelling in combination with instrumentation.
