GENERAL INFORMATION 

Welcome to the 14th EPS Young Minds Leadership Meeting, which will be held in Vilnius, Lithuania, on Friday 15th and Saturday 16th May 2026, at the Faculty of Physics. For the first time, council delegates will be able to attend Young Minds Sessions and meet the young students, during poster sessions, scientific talks. 

The meeting aims to bring together the representatives from Young Minds Sections from the EPS, sharing experiences on outreach activities, networking and science communication.

 Getting to VU Faculty of Physics and the Institute of Theoretical Physics and Astronomy (ITPA) 

A bus will be organized on both days, to pick up the students youth hostel and take them to the faculty. Time pick up 08:30

ACCOMMODATION 

A number of rooms have been booked, for 3 days, from Thursday 14th (arrival)  to Sunday 17th May 2026 (departure) at the Downtown Forest Hostel, paupio g. 31A, Old Town, Vilnius. 

Located on a hillside in central Vilnius, Downtown Forest Hostel & Camping is just a 10-minute walk from the Old Town. Nestled among the trees, it sits close to St. Anne’s Church and the Vilnelė River. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. 

Surrounded by a garden, Downtown Forest Hostel & Camping features a terrace and a shared kitchen. The functional rooms include bed linen and towels. Breakfast is available on request. The property also offers a bar and a camping area. Shuttle service can be arranged in advance for an additional fee. 

The Subačiaus bus stop is 400 metres away, with direct connections to the main train and bus stations (routes 34 and 74), located 2 km from the property. Vilnius Airport is 7 km away.
